As part of Amgen’s mission to serve patients, Amgen makes donations to qualified members of the U.S. healthcare community for the following purposes:
Types of donations that are supported by Amgen include, but are not limited to:
Amgen’s support for independent medical education (“IME”) programs are handled through a separate process. IME is professional education given by accredited medical education providers who design and implement programs totally independent of any Amgen influence, as defined by standard such as the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) guidelines, the FDA’s Guidance: Industry Supported Scientific and Educational Activities, and the PhRMA Code, among others.
Donations are a contribution, grant, payment, or sponsorship, in cash or in kind, made by Amgen to a non-for profit and/or tax-exempt organization without expectation of something in return other than customary donor recognition of incidental value. Amgen may make Donations only to Qualified Recipients as set forth below in the eligibility criteria section. If the donation request is not from a member of the U.S. healthcare community, please direct your inquiries to Amgen’s International Headquarters in Switzerland (intl.donations@amgen.com). All other requests for donations must meet the Eligibility Criteria before an online form for a donation is deemed to be complete.
